Synopsis

July 1942.
A train carrying foreign Jews rounded up in the area stops in Villeneuve after a breakdown. While waiting for the new train to take them to Drancy, Daniel Larcher offered to accommodate them at school for a few days, while Sub-Prefect Servier asked Jean Marchetti, Chief of Police, to arrest the 28 foreign Jews in the city. Faced with the performances of these arrested and separated families, these strangers whom we stigmatize, each of our characters will have to make a choice: indifference, collaboration, humanitarian aid… Or, even if nothing heroic is possible in the face of this organized horror, trying to say or do something, or even save only one of them…
